Usually when wearing a uniform of some sort and belonging to some sort of recognised government. Sneaking around in civilian clothes kinda changes things....

You do realise that your definition includes the American (and French, and Russian, and Irish) revolutionaries, the ANC, the French Maquis, the East Timorese Fretilin and many, many others?

I don't count it when foreign forces have invaded your country (Maquis, Fretilin etc....).. buy yeah ..sure.. otherwise you can justify anything to be terrorist or not. Using twisted logic Bin-Laden and friends can be NOT Terrorists and the US Army can.

so I'm fairly ok with that...
