Morgil BlackhopeWell, I guess I'm not sure what "humiliation" is. I looked it up in the dictionary, and I found words like "degradation," "disgrace," "shame." Or this: "The state of being humiliated, humbled, or reduced to lowliness or submission." Or this: "1: state of disgrace or loss of self-respect 2: strong feelings of embarrassment [syn: chagrin, mortification] 3: depriving one of self-esteem [syn: humbling, abasement]" (All from www.dictionary.com )

Well, if you don't believe me, would you believe a genuine US marine? Or Osama himself? Or this guy from Harward?
Nope. A couple of quotes on the Internet means nothing. You can find anything there if you look hard enough. That is the view of such a miniscule minority that it isn't even worth mentioning.
As compared to you and Russ?
It doesn't need a majority vote, it is so plainly clear fact. If you want to insist that Americans didn't see it as humiliation - fine. I'm always willing to admit I have no idea how the American minds work. <g>
But to claim that those who had previously been humiliated by America did *not* see it that way, is rediculous! If they say they feel humiliated, then it must be so.
Your desperate denial of the obvious truth makes me wonder if you would be just trying to hide that it was your *pride* the Palestinean dancing lady hurt, and that is the reason you're so pissed at her...Yes, I might go along with that. For me it was an "I'd like to get my hands on you and know I can't" kind of feeling. If that's wounded pride, then I agree with you.
