Flame of the WestFlame, you're being ridiculous. Senate Democrats want to 'protect Americans' just as much as Republicans. They just believe (and I agree) that a missile shield is not the way to do it. A missile shield would not have stopped ANY of the terrorist attacks which have been committed against the United States.
Tell it to the Senate Democrats. They oppose a missile shield. For them, protecting Americans is a *bad* thing.
