Jim CampbellKuwait has existed as a separate entity since the 18th century. It was definitely not fabricated by the West - you ask the Turks, who had lots of trouble with the Kuwaitis in the 19th century. Kuwait became totally independent even in name in 1914. Thousands of its citizens are still missing after the Iraqi reign of terror.
Hmm. Liberated in order to live under the same oppressive, unelected regime the West installed there when they drew round a chunk of desert on the map after WW2 and said "Hey, let's call this Kuwait ..."
