Perhaps you missed my shortcut. I'm not talking all christians. We have

a

group - seriously growing in numbers - of catholic fundamentals here, a group that showed up in the nineties, not earlier, probably because,

like

all fundamentalists, they are in fact cowards...

Flame of the West
That is uncalled for. You don't know that.

Don't know what? That fundamentalists are cowards, or that _they_ are cowards? The latter is my presumption, the former is my opinon based on their actions.

anyway, I believe that if they were allowed to grow peacefully (and they were for last couple of years) they would evolve into nothing less than christian version of Taliban. Anyway my point is - for last four years they had massive

influence

on government, and the laws introduced are strict to the matter of ridiculousness, for instance, the only country in Europe that has as

strict

abortion law as Poland is Ireland, and that's _not_ a good thing (though

you

as a Republican(?) probably don't think so),

Flame of the West
I as a Catholic don't think so.

You've really provided no evidence that they are anything other than ordinary Catholics. Why exactly are they so scary?

As I said - you should listen to them. It's hard to describe, really. Well, consider listening to Bin Laden for a few hours and replace all references to 'Allah' with 'Christ', and all reference to US with EU... and maybe they're not yet ready for bombing, or at least they hide it well. As I said, they're just developing. Actually, if you didn't find them scary after meeting them, I'd start to be afraid of you...
