That's an easy one. We won't let them slaughter the Jews. We learned in the last century that much of the world is ready to exterminate the Jews unless we intervene. Don't bother to thank us.

What an idiotic thing to say. What did Bill Clinton fail to do on behalf of the Palestinians? He wasted much of his last year fashioning a deal which Arafat never had any intention of agreeing to.
