Flame of the WestI read about an Iranian priest who circumvented that in another way. When he saw a pretty young girl whom he lusted for, he used his considerable influence so that he could marry her. When he tired of her and wanted new, fresh meat, he divorced her and forced another to marry him. Technically, what he did was in perfect accord with Islamic law. --- those sexual abusers are *everywhere*. Don't feel so glum because it happens to be the Catholics these days. Whenever there is a hierarchy of some sort, where people have power over people, some will abuse that power. Not long ago there was an article in the newspaper about an Italian professor who gave good grades to those good-looking girls who consented to shag him, and flunked those who refused him. It was revealed when someone stole the videotapes that he had made of his own achievements. Fat old man in enormous white undies...
Our good friends and allies, the Saudis, have a plan to revive Arab slave-trading, presumably with that in mind. Got to get around that four-wife limit somehow!
