And as far as the pride and patriotism, I find this "uberpatriotism" extremely frightening, and a sign of people that are willing to blindly follow politicians to any end. I find the mob mentality of my countrymen despicable.
Guess what? We were the same way during World War II, as were most Western nations. You would've hated it. War causes people to close ranks.
