Not exactly. Jehovah's Witnesses are a result of American religious freedom. I heard that they believe that only 144,000 people would be saved. Of course, there are more JW's than that...

The are a couple of critical difference between JWs and mainstream christians. 1. They don't believe in the Trinity 2. Following point 1, they believe Jesus is a created angelic being rather than God ( this is a major difference )
