USA's real crime in Muslim Fundie eyes is that it stands for secularism: atheism. "immorality", contraceptives, women not subjected to men.
You don't think supporting the despotic regimes of the area could have anything to do with that?
(As for contraceptives, aren't the Fundamentalist Muslim countries part of the 'Triangle of Good' with US and Vatican, against that particular Eviul?<g>)They don't think America is going far enough. Furthermore, women are allowed to work outside the home and other horrors. Also, the Muslim fundies know perfectly well that one day George W. Bush, Jr will no longer be President, and then America might get a different policy with regard to family planning.
