And speaking of rigged ballots, theonering.net had a poll over who should sing the closing theme in the TT movie. Of course Enya was the big winner, but the competition you were allowed to vote for was pretty weak. If the poll is any guide, 1.2% of all LotR fans want Britney Spears to sing it!
Perhaps they could cast Ms. Spears as Ioreth's daughter. Or granddaughter. ObOffTopic: is Britney Spears as stupid as her public image indicates - as far as I have noticed her, at any rate? Or did the marketing people decide that most horny teenage boys find a sexy imbecile more desirable than a sexy girl with brains? And most young girls more interested in a strong girl with good looks and no particular brains than in a strong girl with good looks and a brain, since intelligence and the appliance of it are booooring?
