Perhaps you missed my shortcut. I'm not talking all christians. We have a group - seriously growing in numbers - of catholic fundamentals here, a group that showed up in the nineties, not earlier, probably because, like all fundamentalists, they are in fact cowards...
anyway, I believe that if they were allowed to grow peacefully (and they were for last couple of years) they would evolve into nothing less than christian version of Taliban. Anyway my point is - for last four years they had massive influence on government, and the laws introduced are strict to the matter of ridiculousness, for instance, the only country in Europe that has as strict abortion law as Poland is Ireland, and that's _not_ a good thing (though you as a Republican(?) probably don't think so),I as a Catholic don't think so.
