BTW, I don't know how much US internal politics is covered over there, but however weak you think Bush is on Sharon, the Congress is much worse. The US Senate almost passed a resolution of support for Israel's actions last week.
I was *quite* startled to see the warm support the military coup in that country has received from Bush's White House, I thought you had worked that kind of thing out of US foreign policy during the Clinton years.
The whole affair stinks like a week-old kipper, and I'm sure that over the next few years journos will uncover trails leading right back to the US ambassador and probably a certain Agency based in Langley, Virginia.Honestly, I know *zero* about the situation in Venezuala.
