Israel wasn't that far from a civil war itself in the mid-90's, the extreme Zionists (as exemplified by the obnoxious Mr. Netanyahu) are a *quite* nasty bunch, who obviously much prefer a good ol' war, followed by some ethnic cleansing, as a solution to their problems.
