Furthermore, Israel's strategical situation would actully improve if they abandoned all those illegal settlements on the West bank; it would be much easier to defend their citizens. Anyway, you miss the point that the West Bank and Gaza do not belong to Israel and that it is illegal for them to keep them occupied. Not to mention all the eviction of Palestinians to accommodate yet more Jewis settlements - it is still going on! Israel wants peace? Then let them leave the West Bank and Gaza. That *is* the first step.was what the UN resolution in 1947 that created Israel stipulated.
