I'm curious to see how you define a Christian fundamentalist. Jesus certainly never condoned hatred, intolerance or narrow mindedness towards any group. In that respect true Christian fundamentalism exhibits none of the qualities you describe.
I take that to mean you don't regard Jerry Falwell as a Fundamentalist.
