Look, Michael, if I were able to spend much time on AFT these days, I'd be annoyed by what seems to be a nasty and entirely off-topic thread anyway, but is there any reason that you've got to export this stuff to RABT? I'd be a good bit happier if you'd let those of us who want to discuss Tolkien without wading through off-topic flame wars do so in peace. (I rather suspect that most of those on AFT would prefer not to have nasty threads like this one filling their bandwidth, too, but I know that AFT is at least a _little_ more tolerant of off-topicness than RABT.)
