Michael O'NeillThose lusty old ancestors of mine must have brought at least some of the knocked-up colleens with them home. The Celtic Curse is not a venereal disease. You don't get the Celtic curse by banging someone who has it, then passing it on to your offspring by another. The Irish genes must have been brought to Scandinavia. Which, indeed, was often the case. Those ancestors of mine brought *plenty* of slaves back home, some taken in raids, others bought fair and square, including from their own countrymen. Ah, the obscenity of slavery was at least not a racial issue then. --- but at least the institution of slavery keeps prostitution down. As was seen in ancient Rome and in the American South during the slavery years. Why go to a whorehouse when you own several slave-girls, and can have obedient pussy for nothing?
The Celtic Curse [a genetic predisposition to store higher than normal amounts of Iron in the body] was partaken of by many a lusty old VIking, who then returned to his homeland fleeing the dreaded sight of an unmarried mother and a prospective mother-in-law coming after them.
