Which, indeed, was often the case. Those ancestors of mine brought *plenty* of slaves back home, some taken in raids, others bought fair and square, including from their own countrymen. Ah, the obscenity of slavery was at least not a racial issue then. --- but at least the institution of slavery keeps prostitution down. As was seen in ancient Rome and in the American South during the slavery years. Why go to a whorehouse when you own several slave-girls, and can have obedient pussy for nothing?
