[snip] (I'm having to post my reply from Google, as this entire thread has been cleaned off my news-server. But things are looking up: I've gone from a low of ZERO news posts the first week in May to about half of what I should be getting, which are then kept for an average of about a day. Onward!)

Well put! I'm so impressed, I'll stop using the term "brood sow" just for you. Think of it as a late Mother's Day gift, Mom.

LOL! Bless your little egg-shaped head - THANK you! For next year, though, remember that I prefer jewelry and real estate.

Also, while catching up here, I see that you were feeling "repressed and humiliated" about the Falwell vote, which made me laugh out loud and spill my orange juice, because you were kidding, right? If you WEREN'T kidding, then I will feel terrible -- plus guilty for laughing. But what are MOMs good for if not to accumulate guilt and then spread it around? Anyway, I can reassure you on one point, which is that ?jevind runs clean elections.

OK..... maybe this is an "English language" thing. Could Bill Gates have been "embarrassed"? If I were him, I think I would have been a little of that and a lot of "angry".

I think it is indeed an "English language" thing.

Yes.... that or "This is how *I* would feel, and I can't imagine feeling any differently."
