Tidbit: Surefire way to get rid of the Jehovah's Witnesses at the door. Simply tell them that you're not interested, and never will be. Then ask them to please never come back. Each Kingdom Hall (their church), if you can believe it, has a list of "do not go to" addresses. Saves them time, so they can pester other people more often, or something.

I accepted the leaflets from some JWs just so I could find out what they're about, and there kept coming around with more until one of them recognised me from when we were at school and they've never been back since. I guess I made the JW blacklist purely by reputation :o)

*bweheheh*

I remember some cultee hassling me in O'Connell Street [Dublin's Main Street] trying to *give* me a book by his guru that posited that God was the embodiment of "the Good" in existence.

"But," I asked, becoming terminally bored by an instant reflex, "does your Guru not believe that God is All?"

"Yes indeed" the unwary one replied.

"So that means he has to encompass evil as well, doesn't it?"

"Ummm..."

"So you're Guru's handbook seems to be a little unfinished."

"Ehrm..."

"Bye."

Never got bothered again walking down O'Connell Street. I'm sure there's a religious nutter's grapevine or something...
