paulhI am Canadian, and I can assure you that the head of state is Queen Elizabeth II. The republican movement in Canada is relatively weak and is made up of some infrequently vocal malcontents.

Just corrected the header slightly - she wasn't just Queen Mum for England you know, in the same way as her daughter is Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, not just England.
