That said, it's interesting that the use of the word [humiliated] to
Sept. 11 comes mostly from America's enemies. It sounds like wish-fulfilment - they *want* America to have been humiliated. Unfortunately for them, we didn't play along. I'm sure this just made them angrier. So be it.Further to this discussion, it would be interesting to know what it means exactly that "America" has or has not been humiliated. As far as I know, America is non-sentient geographical and/or political entity. As for the several hundreds of millions American individuals, my proverbial 0.02$ would be that some do, some do not feel humiliated. Those who do would not necessarily admit to it.
