There is a big difference between believing and wanting. Many Christians believe that the Second Coming will be during times of war in the Middle East. That in no way means they want a war. They want their savior. I have yet to meet one Christian that wants to see a war break out anywhere on the earth.AC

How's that dangerous?
Have you met any JWs. A large part of my family are JWs, and believe me, literal translations of Revelations are dangerous.
The 144k bit is the least of my concerns about literal interpretations of Revelations right now. There's a lot of religious nuts who would love to see a war start over in the Middle East right now, because they believe it will preceed the Second Coming. That's a belief to make any same person start worrying a little.
