Ah yes. The 144,000. (JW relatives have I.) Anyway, the 144,000 are from the 12 Tribes of Israel. Divide 144,000 by 12, and you get the number from each tribe. AND, on top of all that, they were all born pre 1945. Something to do with WWII, I think. I blocked most of the inssessant (sp?) drivel out when some of the Uncles and Aunts would drone on trying to save me.Flame of the West
I heard that they believe that only 144,000 people would be saved. Of course, there are more JW's than that...
