Georgette actually - but Scots can't say that soft French G (I'm named after my Belgian aunt) and it comes out as J - Jet, so eventually I got tired of trying to correct everyone and settled for a simple Jet - then spelled it interestingly <g>
Since, as Raven mentioned, Jette is a Danish woman's name, I also wondered if you had Scandinavian ancestry. Of course, since you are Scottish you probably do, if one goes back far enough. I believe the Danish Jette actually is a short form of Henriette.
