Morgil BlackhopeIf you listened to the Bush 41 administration's statements during the opening weeks of the war, they had a different justification every few days. My favorite was that it was about "jobs, jobs, jobs." They were trying to find something that would stick. In the end, the American people supported the war was because we were rolling back an invasion of a small country by a dictator. I don't know why Bush 41 did; probably because his manhood was at stake after being urged to action by Margaret Thatcher.
They don't say: "We wanna secure our oil imports from Saudi-Arabia and Kuwait", but instead: "We want to liberate the Free people of Kuwait from the hands of the Evil dictator!" Technically what they said was correct, but which do you think was the *real* reason they actually decided to act? :-)
