What you describe is in no way dangerous, for one thing, so you've not been able to come up with an answer to my original question, either.SylverACJames Bell
Have you met any JWs. A large part of my family are JWs, and believe me, literal translations of Revelations are dangerous.
I don't believe literal translations are any more dangerous than religious intolerance. Your post has made that much crystal clear to me.

How is the post intolerant? Like I said before, I too have a large part of family that are JW's. I'm not intolerant of their beliefs, though it may come across like that to people who don't read what I write closely. What I'm intolerant of, is THEIR religious intolerance. Live and let be. That's what I wish they'd do for me. I give them that respect, and only 3 of the 12 babtised ones give it back. It's pretty bad that I have to avoid family members now with whom I used to get along with very well before their conversion.
