We've already solved that one. We establish air superiority, then bomb the bloody heck out of the enemy for weeks before going in. The result is that the enemy either collapses (like the Taliban) or surrenders to news teams (like the Iraqis). Our bloodiest battle in Afghanistan was the time we just went in without bombing first.
