Start with scheduling a brief civic appearance in with a day of fund-raising events so that he can bill a larger portion of the trip to the taxpayers than if it was purely a fund raising trip. Clinton did it occasionally and was crucified by the right. Bush has been doing it day after day for weeks on end now.

I'll take your word for it that Limbaugh trashed Clinton for it, but I don't remember it. Of course it's silly to criticize Bill Clinton for doing what is common practice.

Lying to the public should be right up there too.

All politicians arguably "lie" to the people, but Clinton is unusual in having had to *admit* on national TV that he lied to the American people. He also had to admit to perjury to avoid prosecution, but in his usual weaselly way.

Somehow Rush and similar slime do not seem to be quite so horrified now that it is one of their own.

I think words like "slime" are a little strong here.

Or what about all the finger pointing Clinton's way in the wake of 9/11. That was ok, but now any suggestion (founded as it is on absolute proof) that Bush may have dropped the ball is 'disgusting' and 'purely partisan'.

I strongly believe that we should defer any finger pointing (at Bush or Clinton) until every Islamic terrorist lies dead and rotting as they deserve. For that reason, I won't challenge your strange statement about "absolute proof".

The only standards people like Limbaugh have are the double kind.

Again, you seem to lose civility when you talk about Rush. He's not *that* bad. And remember, he's an entertainer, not a professional political analyst. You don't entertain people with nuances and reservations.
