Why this need to demonise anyone who is opposing you? The Palestineans have a very genuine reson to dislike USA, the major supporter of Israel, who has humiliated them endlessly in numerous ways (regardless of the reasons).
Germany felt humiliated after the Treaty of Versailles. Japan felt
by the U.S's economic sanctions.Well, at least Germany had a good reason to feel humiliated, don't know the details about sanctions against Japan...

But 'cheering' = 'joy of innocent civilians dying' is an unpleasant simplification aimed to build up another nasty simplification: 'They don't like us' = 'They're evil'...
No, they are evil because they support homicide bombers and support other
doers like al Qaeda. To you that proves they are evil. To me that proves how their situation is so desperate that they are ready to to grasp on any straw someone seems to be offering, wheter its Saddam, Osama or Bill Clinton. Have you seen the reception Clinton got when he made a visit to Gaza (or West Bank) to show support for the new Palestinean government sometimes after Oslo Treaty?
