It was a request, nothing more. Though I suspect he was just a passer-by adding to the newsgroup's ever-increasing storehouse of URLs leding to

sites

with more or less reliable informatiton about Ireland.

Beats complete ignorance on the part of some 'experts' from foreign parts, who no doubt prefer the crap in right-wing Tory rags.

And it has become apparent to me that some here have such enthusiasm for condemning the Provos not because of their - nowadays - abhorrent use of violence (which is what to right-minded people would be the salient point), but rather simply because they're *Irish Republicans*.
