I'm curious to see how you define a Christian fundamentalist. Jesus certainly never condoned hatred, intolerance or narrow mindedness towards any group. In that respect true Christian fundamentalism exhibits none of the qualities you describe.
That beggers the question then: is there such a thing as true Christian fundamentalism?
