This may be an explanation why many people mention the "German timeliness". The German says "half one", means 12:30, arrives then and waits. The other one understands "half one" as 13:30, arrives on time and can't understand why the German is so angry ;-)
German timelessness? How would you say that in German, Deutsche Zeitlosigkeit? Really? never heard of it. I just know that the only person I know who is always totally and Gr?ndlich in time with appointments, is my friend born in Frankfurt, Germany.
Though I can also be rather timeless when it's time to go to bed ;-)
