Although what I can say is that the massive popular demonstrations against the govenments appeared to indicate it was the people that didn't like the government, not the CIA. So, I think this is typical Irish conspiracy theories. Rather, from all appearances it appears what happened in Venezuela was brought about by Venezuelans.
You're both behind the times. Hugo Chavez is back in his palacio, because of other crowds demonstrating for him, and the bulk of the army didn't agree with their generals.
