The phone data is no longer available on the phone.
But your data is not lost, right?
Wrong the data is still lost you can get identical data back id indeed it has been backed up.
if you can get the data back, then it's not lost.
There is a loss, because you have to have new keys that need producing, you'll most likely have to pay for them too.Whisky-davenospam
But if you can't get it, it's considered lost, that's what lost means. If you lose yuor keys you can get anothe rset vut that doesn;t mean you never lost your keys.
not the same thing, but since another set can be obtained, there is no loss.
Do you know the location and condition of teh phones on the malyasian flights.nospamSandmanWhisky-dave
If your phone, and your phone only, contained the launch codes to US missile bases, and an "internal switch" made the phone "kaput", then the data would not be considered lost, and would be retrieved by a number of different data retrieval processes.
if the phone caught fire then the chance if the SIMM surviving would be small.
how often does that happen?
No the Hard disc logic board failed, I could see the damage to the chip.Whisky-davenospam
So in that case data can be lost. This happened to a friends imac, the magic smoke appeared or rather was smelt.
that just means the logic board or power supply failed.
the hard drive is still intact. nothing is lost especially if there are backups. There' weren't any, the person didn;t think to back up their HD before watching a movie.
