However, to say it is an irrelevancy is a misuse of the word. Bringing attention to the use of "night" instead of "knight" is certainly connected and relevant to the post. More connected, in fact, than a reference to a Monty Python character in a thread about electronic devices.

It cannot be irrelevant when it pertains directly to the usage used.
