I can see we are heading to the quibble wars. Count me out.
you're the one that began it.
Not at all true, ant you know it. This all started when you sat iPhones have no moving parts. I pointed out that they do
That *was* the quibble. nospam said, in a discussion about data loss, that smart phones have no moving parts.
It is very clear that this is in reference to storage method, where mechanical hard drives in computer have moving parts and flash memories in cell phones do not.well at least that's true, but I have had the accelerometer latch up in my ipad. I was playing a car racing game and suddently I could onl;y turn in one direction constantly turning I think right. I couldn't steer right it was like teh steering wheel had locked into a left turn, I quit the game and tried a compass & giroscope apps which had also locked up by continulally rotating . I tried shaking and tapping the ipad nothing changed so I shut it down and on restart all was well again. Now if' I'd being using teh ipad for any serious dorectional control or movemenet I would have got a data error in that the data would have been wrong. I doubt it would have had any effect on a photo other than perhaps deciding it was the wrong way around.
