you don't see articles about hard drive crashes, do you? you don't see articles about power outages, do you? either of those will cause an interruption in the user's work, possibly with data loss and maybe a *lot* of data loss. it's what keeps drive recovery companies in business.
-) is this an admision that even digital tata can be lost even though a user hasn;t delete it wow.
a cloud outage might be annoying, but the data won't be lost.Provided the cloud is functioning properly that is. Here some users that use thunderbird have ahd serious issue of losing email or rather never reciving them when they went over to office365 from exchange servers. Some emails took 3 days to arrive from external email address local address were OK.
