The truth is that you can't explain what happens because you do not actually understand it.

i understand it quite well

All you know is what buttons to push to get a particular result.

just like you don't need a degree in physics or thermodynamics to operate a vehicle.

This is evident from the way that what is going on in the background never seems to concern you.

i know what's going on inside and out but only because i'm interested in that.

typical users do *not* need to understand what goes on under the hood.

they want results with minimal hassles.

You have said that I do not fully understand what is going on. You now need to show that you do, by explaining it.

i'm tired of explaining it.

read a book on it. it will answer questions you didn't think to ask.
