it's not undone. it's redone with different parameters.
So, you are not reversing it: you are doing it again, but differently.
No, by removing the effect, the resulut of that effect is 100% reversed. No one is doing "it" "again". Do you even know yourself what "it" is in reference to in your own sentence?
