Nope. LR doesn't render a preview when it exports an image.
Then from where does it get the preview that is bigger than it has cached?
The cached preview is 1:1 if you've worked with it.
That potentially makes it a space hog if you produce large prints.
DxO doesn't save a preview but does save all the edits in an XMP sidecar.Cool, this discussion has been about LR. I won't make any comments about DxO because I'm not familiar enough with it. You know, as opposed to you - who isn't familiar with LR but keep making incorrect claims about it.
So too does NX-D. NX-2 stuffs (possibly multiple) sidecars in an edited NEF file. However, none of these have LR's cataloguing.We all know this.
