Hey, Marek, asked me to Skype with him. It is against my better judgment but clearly you want my attention -- so lets Skype. That way it is clear if someone is not listening and giving reasoned responses (hint, you refuse to).

Marek Novotny
The offer was to get everyone on Skype, not just you...

Steve Carroll
I figured that one was BS... and it's easy to tell with Snit because he won't quote it directly (as we've all seen).

Marek Novotny
I don't know why he brings me up out of blue like that and then doesn't even accurately reflect on the offer I made.

You asked to Skype with me. I am happy to. You want to invite others. Sure.

When do you want to do it?

I don't wish to be pulled into a circus.

This is your circus... but you know on a Skype call it will be much harder to explain why you deny Peter made a request YOU responded to and then you denied he made it at all (he did so as a part of his "challenge").

You know you will just crumble. In text you can snip it or ignore it. In a Skype not so easily.

He can post the message ID if he can't recall the full discussion. I'm not interested in arguing with him.

YOU are the one who asked to Skype with me.

I'd maybe be interested in getting everyone on skype, once and that's it. It's not a one to one conversation. But honestly, I think it would be a waste of time anyway. I don't much see the point of any of this. It's a never ending argument and I have better things to waste my time on.

I really do not even understand why you and others just want to argue in COLA -- but if you are going to, and you wanted to Skype (which you did until I said I would) then I am open to it.

Have you given any more thought to 'the show'?

Marek Novotny
Right now I am trying to remember about this Linux friendly mixer which might help me record audio from multiple sources into the mic jack. It was supposed to be very small and I heard it mentioned once on a show. Which I could remember the damn name of it. I'd like to buy that.

Instead of arguing why not have your show and I will be a guest. I will not attack or insult or even bring up your nonsense about Peter and how he did not ask the question you and I both gave partial answers to. I *will* ask you to talk about desktop tasks you think Linux handles better than the competition... and I will fact check claims you make and welcome you to fact check claims I make.

I did this with Roy Schestowitz and Goblin as well. A completely friendly conversation... though Roy ended up disinviting me for a second discussion once his claims and mine were fact checked. So be it.

But feel free to listen... as in COLA I do not swear or name call or lie or attack... here, from Goblin's site:

And my posting of it:

-- Personal attacks from those who troll show their own insecurity. They cannot use reason to show the message to be wrong so they try to feel somehow superior by attacking the messenger.

They cling to their attacks and ignore the message time and time again.
