RimrunnerThe glue on one of the box's flaps had been unsealed. Looked like theft to me.

I ordered it from Amazon. The box arrived on Saturday, but the only thing in it was the packing slip. Amazon has shipped me another -- overnight delivery in fact -- but it makes you wonder how often this sort of thing happens to them. And whether the thief was disappointed with his loot. Hope he learns something from a brutally honest, ethical man.
Believe it or not, it might have been an honest packing error. A lot of their processes are automated and this sort of thing doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen. I used to deal with cases when I worked in their CS department. Sometimes it would be something missing from a multi-item order, but single-item orders would on occasion arrive empty.
I suppose that theft could be a problem, too, but that would've been the warehouse supervisors' problem, not mine.
-g, mind. boggle.
