C'PiI wouldn't worry. The first book is the exception so far, in that it is *just* possible to make a movie out of it without losing anything important. For books 2 through 4, they're going to have to do as much of a hack'n'slash job as they had to do with LotR.
I'm reading the first [Harry Potter] book now, but I'm wondering whether I should read the second book or not. I really want to read the second book, but I wonder if I should wait till the 2nd movie comes out so it won't be spoiled.
Weird huh? I wanted to read the 2nd Harry Potter book to know what happens next, but I don't really care what happens next in LOTR.That's because it's the first part of a trilogy, man! You need to see the rest of the story to be able to appreciate the brilliance of the first one.
