edNothing killed Flash. Flash will still be on tablets and smartphones. The need for a mobile Flash is pretty much going by the wayside because of the increased power of smartphones and tablets. Flash is nothing more than a plugin to play certain content. It will exist long after it's not the most popular online format for delivering streaming content. Real Player plugin still exists even though you will be hard pressed to find some real player content. Real Player now plays other content to keep it relevant.
Apple wasn't right or wrong - they were SUCCESSFUL in getting flash killed...
