CovenantJimmy didn't f*** with the lifecycle. He saw a loose end and came up with an appropriate way to tie it up.
Yeah... ever since ol Jimmy f****d with the life cycle I have been of the opinino that BOTH life cycles are valid.
It adds to the uniqueness of the entire species...It adds unnecessary complexity is what it does.
You're alone? You can create eggs with living victims... You are part of a hive? You don't need to...Ah, yes, the old "it's a 'perfect organism' so it can do anything" rationale. Why not just say they can sprout flowers out of their arse if the need arises?
