no. because most people simply don't count a lot of 'stuff' as assets in household accounting. do a test- ask as many people as you like to list their personal assets, and come back and tell us how many start listing household furnishings, clothes, nicknacks, etc. it won't be many.

What they would "list" as assets is totally irrelevant. Any property that holds value *is* an asset to the owner.
