I'd never considered they might be food. However, these are a little more dangerous than caviar, which might give you a bit of a
stomach at worst - it won't have an alien burst out of your chest!Well, the space jockeys would probably *chew* the facehuggers.
Also I suspect the acid blood wouldn't be too tasty. Unless of course the SJ race are immune to it just as the Aliens themselves are.Humans don't eat a whole animal. They usually remove the stomach and intestines at least. Often they only eat the muscle and discard the rest. The SJ's probably don't eat the eggs or facehuggers whole. They would probably drain the "blood".
