Power supplies are glued into iPads: didn't you know?

no they aren't. where did you get that insane idea? plus, what's in that picture is not an ipad power supply anyway nor is there any evidence of it being glued to an ipad.

the batteries inside an ipad, however, are glued (and not in all of them) for many reasons. battery != power supply.

Isn't it?

nospam
no, it isn't.

Why isn;t it. The battery is the power supply it's what supplies power to the circuitry so it is the power supply.

In an iDevice the thing that supplies power to it is the battery same as with the majority of cameras.

You surprise me. From where does my iPad get the power to run when I turn it on?

nospam
from the battery, unless it's connected to a power supply which is plugged into the wall, in which case, it gets power from that and the battery is recharged.

and where does rthe charger get it[s power from then the wall socket or the sub-station, from oil gas, or nuclear or perhaps even wind or solar power.

But in the end we could say that everything gets it's power from the Sun.
