ACIn very early versions she and Turin 'bathe in the wells of fire' or something like that and are purified/sanctified like Urwendi (the Sun lady) and become 'Ainur'.
I don't remember if Nienor is counted among the Ainur or not.
It's hard to tell whether the notion of Turin coming back as an Ainu to avenge himself and his family survived the writing of LotR.In the later versions he still came back, but there is no mention of him being one of the Ainur. In the very last version both Turin and Beren (and how many times could that guy return from the dead anyway?) come back for the final battle.
